The Louisville Public Library collection is intended to serve the diverse interests of the entire Library community, and therefore may contain materials that some find controversial. The selection of library materials is guided by the Library’s Collection Policy to meet the informational, educational, and recreational needs of the community. If you are a registered patron and a resident of Louisville or Superior and object to an item in the Library’s collection you are encouraged to speak to a Supervisor. If you would like a request for reconsideration addressed by the Library Director, please complete and submit this form. An appeal may be made to the Library Board of Trustees. The Library Board will examine the challenged material, read the complaint and review the Library Director’s decision.
