Before you begin the application, we recommend that you:

Review the Application Guide to make sure you are prepared and ready to complete the application.

Requirements

Applicants must be Louisville residents.
Application Deadline: November 12, 2026
Projects you propose must fit into one of the five program goal areas: Energy, Air, Water, Land, People.
- Review the Goals, Target Areas and Project Ideas brochure for project examples in each goal area or visit the Sustainable Neighborhood Network website to see what kind of projects are currently being completed.

Success in this program requires that residents work together to plan, implement, and support initiatives. Strong applications include signatures of support from residents living in all areas of your neighborhood. A minimum of 20 signatures is recommended, and we encourage you to gather as many as you can. You will be asked to upload your signature sheet as part of theis application.
